I am an artist and architect born in Rio de Janeiro, my practice is a blend of a catholic growing up in the tropics, crashing against a current urban lifestyle, mixing meditation, bdsm, silence, noise, shibari, my architecture background etc... I love to see the shape of furniture in churches, the objects that allow positions to practice faith and all that revolves around this tension of restraint and absolution… old things, hard things.. I want to make them softer, but shocking! Like skin against cold metal.

a chair that is also
a performance and
